What is the green circle (this one has a number 1 in it) above my B moniker?

Funny, I clicked my green circle and it looks like it gives me notifications of the threads I’m “Watching”, one of the options on the bottom left. I’m new at this too so I wasn’t sure abut it Lots to learn
