I’ve not lost a pet for many years now, I forgot how hard it is :verysad: My mum has just informed me that the family cat, Sylvester, has just been put down, he had cancer and it didn’t respond to treatment. He was 13, so he’s had a reasonably long life for a cat. I hope you don’t mind me taking a little bit of KH land to remember him. :pout:
That’s what this forum is for, so please share your joys and sorrows with us anytime. I am so very sorry for your loss, it is never easy. I lost my beloved Duke almost 3 years ago now and I still cry about losing him so early in his life. It’s a terrible thing to lose someone you love, no matter how many legs they have!! 2 or 4 legs, we still love them the same - with all we have. I will pray for peace and comfort for you and your family during this difficult time.
we had to put down one of ours in May and my almost 3 year old said just yesterday that she misses Buddy and he’s in heaven but she really wants to see him RIGHT NOW! I still get sad over him. Sorry for your loss.
Sorry about your cat. I had a cat growing up, got her when I was 2 and she lived until she was 23. I couldn’t remember a time without her, she was really old, but it was still hard loosing her.
My deepest sympaties on your loss. It’s never easy to let go of our furry babies. I am facing the same thing with my 14yo dog, and it hurts to even consider that long drive to the vet.
I’m so sorry . Sometimes we just have to do what’s best for lovely animals that we get to share our lives with, than the best for us. We’re always here for you.
What a handsome cat Sylvester was…Its heartbreaking when we have to say goodbye to them when they have been part of our familes for so long. You will always have those special memories of Sylvester…Take care xxx
