Golf club cover pattern

I am trying to find a patten for golf club covers and if anyone has ever made them,how difficult are they to make. Thanks

I made some years ago for my then FIL. I just basically made them like a mitten with no thumb.

I used the basics from this Knitty
pattern, replacing the fair isle with stripes based on the number of the club. (I’d have to love someone a lot to do the fair isle thing ;)).
