This one will be for my daughter. It is a pretty simple sweater done in a bulky weight…I am using Bernat Galaxy (Super Bulky) in EARTH so we will see how it turns out. :???:
I don’t know how well I like working with this yarn…but I haven’t had to frog it yet…:roflhard:
Can’t wait to see your FO. Your other sweaters have been fantastic.
I just noticed you live in Boise. I live over on the East side of town near Reserve and the foothills.
Hey y’all, I grew up in Nampa and lived in Boise for a while after 2 years of college in another state. That’s been a long long time ago, though I still go through there to visit relatives in the area. I’m planning on going to my HS reunion this summer (if there is one); maybe we can get together and knit a bit…
Wow, small world! I graduated from Nampa High School and my parents and sister still live there.
ETA–sorry I missed the part about getting together. That would be awesome. Let me know and I will PM you my phone number.
Sounds wonderful! Can’t wait to see it!
Well, I ran in to a few problems…:waah: and had to the project. When working with “bumpy” yarn, watch out for the “legs” of the stitch turning over on the needle. I must have picked up some stitches along the way cause it went from 72 to 76. :??
Anyway, same project but in Lion Brand Woolspun color Granite.
Much easier yarn to work with.
Can’t wait! Thanks for posting! Knit on Good Gentleman!
Bummer that you had to frog! If it happens again, you might see if you could just decrease back to the correct number of stitches. If it doesn’t make the knitting look wonky, that’s what I’d do.
I’m sorry you had to frog but can’t wait to see it in the new yarn! :happydance:
Thanks for sharing
I’m piecing it together now. Pictures soon.
:yay:
Check out the finished project pictures by the same name.
