Humorous. The author is Stephanie Pearl-McPhee.

I’ve read ALL her books! One of my favorites is Knitting Rules. I bought the book and have read it several times now. 
Another good book…Debbie Macomber’s A Good Yarn.

Unless she has a new book out I’ve read all of Debbie Macomber’s knitting books as well. They are good!
