Free Plus size patterns!

Was looking up toddler sweaters and found this site for Plus size sweaters from adult to toddler.Just thought I’d share.:cheering:

Thanks for posting this!! Great resource for plus sizes! I love that they include men’s plus sizes as well!

Oh that’s great! I’m getting so many useful links from the board.

That is a great site, and it belongs to our own Sandy (Shandeh)!

I was just about to post that it was Sandy’s. The shrug pattern is really a good one. Haven’t tried any of the sweaters yet.

Thank you! I had seen that sight awhile ago and forgotten about it.

This is terrific! Most patterns seem to be designed for stick insects and it’s so hard to find patterns for larger men especially. Can’t thank you enough for posting this site, I might even find something here proportioned for my guy that he actually would be caught dead in!

Can’t wait to try the shrug. I haven’t even thought to make myself something yet but that will be the first thing I make.

Thank you for the website. I saw that it also listed other similar sites for us bigger gals.

Mary

Thank you so much!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Knitknot, I see you got one of them types too huh? My hubby is a big man 6’4" bout 330#.
Momwolf, Thank YOU!!! for posting this. (my thanks button thingee won’t work (waaaah!!)

Thanks so much for this post - you’ve saved me a ton of time, I’ve been mooching about the net for a long-line cardigan! I just love that embroidery.:yay:

I also liked the Textured pullover with the scoop neckline - that’s a great idea - you could wear it in early summer and even get away with it in colder weather because it would look so good with a matching scarf!

Thanks alot - I think you’ve taken care of about two years’ worth of knitting there - well, the speed I knit at, anyway.

All the Best

Wow! I’m so glad you all like that website.

I need to work on it again, because I have found lots more plus-size patterns in magazines recently. I think the knitting community is finally getting wise.

Also, I’ve found that Patons includes larger sizes in most of their new pattern booklets. Tonight, I bought two booklets at Michael’s that had revisions up to size 5X! :happydance:

Shandeh, that’s YOUR website?! gasp You absolutely rock, hun.

I’m a very plus-sized gal, and when I first started attempting to knit, I was totally dismayed by all the pattern books I found, because not one of them even went to 1XL. For awhile, I thought knitting discriminated against us bigger gals, lol.

Seriously, your little blog has been a GODSEND! Thank you SO much. I’ve got more patterns on my “to do list” from there than I can shake a stick at!

Oh! And I just remembered, I found a VERY cute pattern for a Cartigan @ Knitty that I thought was just absolutely awesome. It goes up to 3X in the actual pattern, but making it larger wouldn’t take too much adjustment, methinks.

Anyways, here’s the link: http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall07/PATTtussiemussie.html

And thanks again!

Thanks Manda! I’ll add that link when I work on the site again.
