Four Purls - New Yarn Shop in Central Florida!

WooHoo!! We have a new yarn shop here around the Central Florida area!! I was so pleased when I saw it pop up on Google and it just opened last Saturday (3/6).

I went over today to have a gander at the shop, fondle some yarn, adopt a few skeins, and meet the owner!

The shop is called Four Purls and is in Winter Haven, FL.

There was a TON of Noro in the store (and currently Noro Sock was 20% off as the weekly special). I also noticed the wall full of Cascade Yarns in the full rainbow which was just beautiful (and tempting…cause I walked out with enough to make a cardigan.)

The store owner, Laura, was very nice and very helpful!

She didn’t have plans yet for a knitting night, but had a nice area set up for just chilling on the couch and knitting.

Oh you are sooooo lucky! I still have to drive an hour and a half to get to a real yarn shop. And to have Vogue Knitting come there… what a coup!

Its a good hour and a half from where I will be living.

I live in Lakeland and Winter Haven is only about 15 miles from Lakeland . So now I have a place to go for yarn instead of having to order online .

Wonder if I could convince my mom to stop in and buy me a gift before she comes home from FLA. She’s in Zephyrhills but goes to Lakeland weekly. :teehee:

I am in the Orlando area, but my family lives in Lakeland. I will have to make a pit stop in Winter Haven when I go to visit them.
