I admire you for having open communication with your daughter. I have the same kind of relationship with my girls and I wish that more parents were as involved as we are. Hang in there!
Yesterday we went Geocaching. All I do is set in the car :woot: My DH goes looking for all of them, if he needs help I will then get out of the car to help him. But it all day of nothing but knitting for me. I got a book the other day on knitting socks 2 cir. needles. I have been wanting to give that a try but never have the time to really set and try it. Well I have time yesterday. :woot: I got it…:figureditout: Now I have 2 socks going. I really love the picture in the book. It is has been a real big help. The book is called Knitting circles around socks.
Now that I got the idea of how to do it, I am going to try Silver’s sock next.
I also got my fingerless gloves that turned into mittens done yesterdays, or at least one done. I made them out of Noro… I love the color.

Geo-caching sounds cool! 
Shandeh, Geocaching is very fun. I have been down so many back road of Arkansas, and have seen so many thing around the country that I would have not seen if not for Geocaching, And have spend some good time with my kids and DH. Here is our pageon the geocaching.
I try real hard to talk to my kids every day. Even though they do not speck back to me… and we have dinner with each other every night, where we all talk. The computer is in the family room, Both of my kids have there own but I am right here in the same room with them. I ask alot of question. Plus We laugh so much in this house, which I think helps. I am also very open to talking about ANYTHING, they hate that part.
Love the geocaching! Have you ever put knitwear in? I need to get a new GPS thingy… 
Your interest in pottery reminds me very much of CarolOH here on the forums. She does a lot of that as well! Sweet person.

Finished my fingerless glove but turned them into mittens. could not stop myself :teehee:
Now I am working on a tiny sock for a key chain for my Secret pal in the winter sway. I love making those.
DH is in Mississippi right now, so I don’t have to cook, The kids just feed them self while I set and knit. :woot: I have been looking around “Yarn Discontinued” might have to get the butterfly sock pattern, that look very pretty and I love the yarn they used.
I knew this was going to be a short post, I have to run up the the JHigh to give out prizes. The kids have been selling Mag, to raise money for the Band.
Today is a getting to wear you PJ until you DH comes homecloud9 :woot: Now I just need to get off of the computer and get some work done on the house. I need to make some more purse for a new art and craft show coming up, Need to clean out a desk…
:evil: Mop the kitchen floor, and just clean. But I would love to just set and knit… I also need to get the my secret swapee pal stuff in a box ready to ship out.
ok Now I am getting off my butt to see if I can get some of this done.

Don’t know where to start, don’t really like writing about myself but here it goes.
DH started work at the new job on the 2nd. DS and I are going to Miss to see him on the 3rd and leaving on the 5. DS has not seen the area and wants to before he has to go back to collage. DD does not want to go, So will stay home with my parents. I want to go check out the new LYs in the area. I am in the New year swap, so I need to go look at some yarn.
I know if I had started this I would not be able to finish it… now off I go to make supper.

Been real busy trying to get the house cleaned and shaped up for selling. We went through each room top to bottom cleaning, and throwing away or putting on e-bay, or taking it to Goodwill. Now my house is clean except for the everyday stuff that needs to be done. Now I am painting. The front door and back door need painting but it is 32o outside. Way to cold. so just painting the inside here and there that needed it.
I had a small but nice Christmas. We have been so busy that I really did not have time to GET INTO the Christmas. DD asked for a LOVE jacket and DS asked for a Wii game. other then that I just got them a few little stuff. DH did not ask nor did I for anything. Since I was at the Art and craft show I did find me a nice necklace with earring, so he got me that. I also wanted but could not find an Arkansas Christmas ornament. DH found one at the airport when he had to leave for Huston. That was a nice surprise plus my favorite x-mas movie. “A Christmas story”
Did not get that much from my Mom and Dad. That was fine, I just like being able to enjoyed there company. My brother and his wife where here but he had to work on Monday so we had x-mas on Saturday at my house. And leftovers on Sunday. Then his family had to go back home. He has 2 little girls. Mom and I went in half and got them a Bounce and jump. They had so much fun with that. It took up my whole living rm.
One thing DH and I got the kids was 4 tickets to see Trans-Sibrian orchestra. We saw them last year and it is one of the BEST Concert we have ever seen. When DD found out they were coming again, She wanted to go… but we told her no, that once was enough… But we got to talking with each other, so we got the tickets. The seat are not as good as last year but that is OK. The kids were excited about seeing them again.
Guess I will go to bed now, No one is going to want to read all of this so I will close for now. :passedout:

Today I went to the Gym. I like to sleep in on Friday but the Gym will be close on Mon and Tue so I made myself get up. It was a good class. I really need to drop some lbs… I am starting to put my weight back on… After losing 10 lbs from my Tummy Tuck. don’t want to ruin that.
Need to get my house clean… Been so busy with CLEANING that I have not been able to clean… Did that make any sense?
The kids got a Wii for Christmas and I can’t stop playing it. My mom and Dad got us the Brain game. That one is fun but not when my DH plays… Boy I knew he was smart but not that smart… The kids play the Mario. NOw I am hooked on that one. You have to find/win 125 stars, so far I have found 22… But that may be as far as I can go… it is starting to get harder for me.

Had a great time yesterday at the concert. Plus we did some shopping before and went out to eat at a new place that we had never been to before. Joey’s seafood, it was real good.
The weather was real nice today, so I got my 2 doors painted. YEA.
Only one more day until my DH moves to MISS. don’t know if I will miss him or not…:?? :shrug:
Someone posted about sales going on for the new year. and I just spend 150.00 on yarn form Personal Threads. Maybe now I can get that sweater made from Stitch Diva Studios “Sahara” I love that sweater but not the price of the Tilli Thomas yarn. So I got some Noro silk to make it with.
Hi Carla :waving:! It’s impossible to keep up with everyone here, but we are all valuable!
DH and I haven’t exchanged gifts for several years. Money has been tight and we have no idea what to get so we just concentrate on the kids, etc. I cut back on them this year and probably will more next year. They are 31 and 28 so we really don’t need to go nuts anymore… it’s just hard to do. :teehee:

I don’t like to talk about myself. I think I am a exciting person just don’t like to talk about me. But I hate to get around other people who when you walk away… You know so much about them that they know nothing about you. I don’t like those people very much. So I try to not do that… But doing this Blog is like talking about yourself and not getting to know anyone else. I do read a lot of Blog on here. I just don’t post. It is hard to post with “I am just listening”
My DH left for Mississippi today. He will start work tomorrow. NOW for my DIET… My son is going to stave… But my DD and I don’t eat that much any way… But DS like food. and I don’t plan on cooking bigs meal like I used to… It will be a lot of Hamburger helper… hot-dog… or what ever you want night. My DH will eat better them us…:happydance:
Trying to finish up a pair of mittens for my MOM. I had to rip out the first one because the second one came out better… Then I need to cast on for a hat for my son. Plus I want to make about 70 dishcloth for friends. I want to give them each 7, As a “I am leaving present.” Not really looking forward to that but it will be quit knit-ups. and a nice present.
