This pattern was a bit confusing (had to ask for help from the author several times), but I pushed through and finished I love wearing little shrugs and the like, and this should be great for the cool summer nights! I used Knit Picks Merino Style in Petal. This is a fab yarn. It holds up really well to frogging! I had to frog half a ball’s worth FOUR times before I got that bit right, and that section looks the same as all the other sections. I think the next time I make it, I’ll try a yarn more similar to the recommended one (I believe that’s cotton or linen) for something I can wear summer DAYS!
OH MY GOODNESS This is amazing! I am so thoroughly impressed!!! It looks like you bought it! I don’t know if you’re into this kind of thing but I would totally enter into a fair in your area!! You make me want to do try a garment, I’ve never done one yet. Wow wow wow! :yay:
It looks awesome. I too love the color and it is just so cute on you. :happydance:
Hey if you are in the Northwest near me, then you can wear it all summer long, just throw on some birks or crocs with wool socks and you’ll fit right in. LOL
It was pretty easy. I kept making some really stupid mistakes so I had to frog it 4 times! But once I got into the rhythm, it was fairly simple. Some of the directions were unclear, but the author is on Ravelry, so I was able to ask her questions directly so it cleared up all my confusion. It’s easy enough that I plan on making a few more!
