They are wonderful, I love the touch with the beads.
FO: Two Little Girl's Booga Bags!
Very cute! The girls will love them!
I used that DMC Pearl Cotton. Same yarn/thread/floss that I use to seam my knits, rather than the self-yarn from the project.
CLICK HERE to view it at Joann’s.
And thanks so much for your kind words, too!
Hi Merigold!
The big sister won’t fight…she’ll “campaign”. The little one (the scrappy one) will go to the mats about the whole thing! :teehee:

These are beautiful - I did a whole bunch of Boogas for Christmas presents this year and “they went down a treat” as they sometimes say. The girls will really love these.
Hi Artlady
Where can I get the pattern for the larger Booga Bag from?
I used the pattern ‘as is’ for my granddaughter’s booga bags.
For my daughter’s larger booga bag, I just cast on 46 stitches (instead of 34)…and knit back and forth for 46 rows (13 ridges)…and knit up in-the-round til my yarn was gone.
BTW: You will need to reserve yarn for your 6’ of I-cord. Maybe you should make the I-cord first.
The regular Booga Bag calls for 3 skeins Kureyon. The bigger bag will take 5 skeins, unless you use a different wool for the bottom and I-cord.
Remember, I used a different yarn for my daughter’s I-cord, and the bottom of the bag, and the last 6 rows at the top edge (solid leaf greenTahki Donegal Tweed).
I used up all 3 skeins of Kureyon for the bag itself.
Hi Artlady
I have just printed off the pattern for the Booga Bags from :- www.blacksheepbags.com
Thanks for your quick reply x
Very pretty! Love the colors of both of them.
