This was originally going to be for me. but I didn’t like the way it looked and I was going to rip it out but then my sister tried it on and she just rocked it so now its hers. I’m happy that I don’t have to rip it out and she happy cuz she loves it and she has something she can wear to work since she can’t wear the pink champagne dress to work.
This is Twize Skirt designed by our very own Moderator Kemp. It was done in South West Trading Company Twize which is a lovely Bamboo yarn. Let me know what you think. I do love the pattern it was very easy and very quick. I finished knitting it in like a week. the finishing details I did this weekend when I found out my sister was taking it.
Tarentella-the yarn is very lovely to work with, its sooo soft and smooth even though its basically two yarns woven together.
Mcknitty and KnittingNat-the skirt is so quick to knit because its worsted weight yarn worked in the round so you are just doing straight knit stitch all the way through besides the decreases. the only part that slows you down is when you get to the slits, then you have to st st until the garter stitch edge.
i liked it because it was a quick knit that wasn’t small.
I’m knitting a summer sweater with the Twize yarn and I love. It was expensive but I rately splurge an anything so I tried not to care.:roflhard:

This is such a “sedate” skirt. It’s long enough for work, but it still has plenty of spirit. I like the interesting “kick” opening and buttons. Very nice.
