FO: Slouchy Hat

First I have to say, this really does look nice in person! The picture of me looks a little odd.

Yarn: Shibui Sock #229
Needles: 6 for the ribbing, 8 for the linen stitch

This was my first project with the Shibui Sock yarn and I love it! 100% merino and machine washable. The yarn comes in many beautiful colorways.

Very pretty! Great job!

It looks cute! I really love the shape of the hat

That looks nice and I like that linen stitch!

Can I ask where I can get the pattern? Love it…

hi, candican,

i am oso interested in the patterns…

I love your hat!! The slouchiness is just great. It reminds me of the top of the French traders/trappers hats from old movies. The color is lovely too.

I love it! I’ve been wanting a slouchy hat pattern myself - it just looks so casual & cute!

How great! I love slouchy hats and you chose a lovely color to use. You’ll have to post where you got that pattern, because it’s so different and I haven’t seen one like that before. -Ve

Look like it really suits you. Lovely job.

I don’t know where she found her pattern, but the knit and tonic blog has a great one that turns out lovely.

I got the pattern here. However, since I used different weight yarn, my CO numbers are very different. Also, I do not understand her 4 row linen stitch pattern, although she said it was correct when I emailed her and asked. So, I just did the top part of mine in a regular linen stitch which is a 2 row repeat. I might make another in half linen stitch.

Thanks for the compliments!
