Well, it is done! Length: 15" (a cropped, waist-length)
Sleeves: 18". Chest: 23"
It took 585 yds. I think the ruffles sucked up a lot of yardage cuz the
Sweater Wizard said it would take 433 yds with normal cuffs and edges.
I installed only 2 buttonholes. Laila doesn’t like to button up.
So the two are just for very minor buttoning! These buttons look pink, but they are abalone color. Not real shell, but that look.
If you’d like to read about the pattern or details of its construction, HEREis the KH-WIP page, andHEREis its Ravelry page. I’m very proud of this little cardigan, being that it is basically my own design. Read about it HERE.
Very nice ArtLady!! I knew you had it in you. There will be no stopping you now. It’s fun isn’t it?
I started something once that I put that bell ruffle on, got side tracked and never got anywhere with the project. It looks great on your sweater.
Which pictures show the color best? The one of the skein is quite a bit different than the others. Which is truest? Both colors are really pretty.
I love the idea of making it cropped length. Two buttons is good on this sort of very springy looking sweater. Color very spring too. Lovely all around.
