This is Pink Champagne originally from August 2007 Magknits. Its for my twin sister. Its done in 100% silk from Colourmart.com. It is divine against the skin!! I modified the original pattern a bit because my sister wanted to be able to wear it to work by making the back closed instead of keyhole. they were done on size 4 needles.
but now that i see the finished product it may be still a bit racy for work. so she asked you all to take a vote and let us know if it is too racy for work or if we can get away with it since we are little. oh and let me know what you think. her work is business casual and she is a graphic designer.
Well, it’s beautiful and you did a great job and your sister has an adorable little figure but the Mom in me says WEAR THAT TO WORK:shock:      Where doees she work???
Fantastic job and wow she has a gorgeous figure. The pink looks wonderful with her olive skin. However, I just can’t picture that dress being a work dress. I think a night on the town, a bar, a romantic supper, but nope, I would not wear that to the office.
Having said that, I want to tell you I think that was a pretty major piece of work and you did a really good job with it. It looks wonderful on your sister. She is so tiny!
It’s stunning. Don’t think it would be suitable for work though. Just laughing to myself if I wore that to work I would probably give my patients a heart attack!!
Especially with my figure xx
This is beautiful! What a lot of work that must have been and you did it wonderfully! Wow! Sorry, but I have to agree with the others, a little too much for work, unless maybe she wore a jacket over???

Beautiful, but definitely not for work. Work clothing should be somewhat professional even in a casual environment IMO. They can be a little sexy with peeking lace from a cami though.
Thanks for the comments. That’s what I figured. she works at a pretty casual place since she is a graphic designer for a holographic paper company, with a warehouse attached. (oh yes I make Dunder Miffllin comments All the time). Maybe i will knit a matching shrug or jacket to go over it. but she can definitely were this on the weekends.
That’s gorgeous! The color is awesome on her. I’m with the “Not for Work” crowd. However…you said you’re both small. It would work with an overskirt of some kind. It might be a bit snug around the hips to work as a tunic, but maybe not?
Yeah maybe a black jacket to go over it, and if it were a wee bit longer then it would be OK for work. Then at night you can take the jacket off and va va va voom :eyebrow:
