FO--Noro felted bag

Well, my little experiment didn’t turn out the way I hoped. I’m sure I’ll find a use for the bag anyway…but this isn’t the shape I anticipated. At least the colors are pretty!

Its VERY cute! LOVE The colors, and that unusual shape is SURE to get you many compliments! What’s wrong with it, Kempy??

Well, no matter how many felted bags I make, I can’t seem to get it through my head to make it lots taller than I think is needed. The height always seems to shink disproportionately more to the width. I know that and yet I STILL make the same mistake.

Which Noro is that?? 152? It looks like my Booga colors in the unfelted but not in the felted picture. I really like it!! :inlove:

The colors are beautiful. Looks like you could fit some needles and a skein of yarn in the bottom!

Yep, it will definitely hold some yarn and needles!!

You were close on the color…it’s 154. My digital camera broke so I’ve had to resort to taking stills with our camcorder instead…not as good on the colors as my regular one!

I think that’s what I used…that WOULD be a good yarn/needle holder!!

Kemp, I REALLY  :inlove:  this bag…I love ‘unusual’ bags, a step out of the ordinary…I so want the pattern if you would like to email you ‘boo-boo’ to me…LOL! I love it…GORGEOUS :cheering: :cheering: I collect purses, have lucite bags from the 40s & 50s, etc, I have a small ‘bowling bag’ that is actually a purse…I have my cool booga and plans to felt several bags bc there’s always going to be a surprise…I LOVE IT :inlove: :cheering: :cheering: :cheering: :cheering: ALOT!!

:cheering: I love the bag!!! Great job on it

You need some cute tassels to hang off the corners of the flap and then maybe make some kind of funky closure and it would be really chic. I think it is adorable!!

Thanks for the suggestion! I’m going to play with it after the holidays.

I LOVE the colors! Cute bag!!! Great job. I know what you mean about having to make it a lot bigger than you think you need it. It is a hard thing to remember to adjust for if you are adjusting a pattern.

I think it’s great too… very different, but trendy!
