I used Paton’s Classic Merino. It felts wonderfully, is easily available at Joanns and Micheals, is inexpensive and comes in a variety of colors. And they are knit on #13s. For me the 15s were just to big and the fabric way too loose. (this comes from a loose woman, errr, I mean knitter 
)
Great felting yarn - I have also used it on all the FT clogs.
These are such a fun and quick little knit - I have another pair awaiting seaming and felting.
