You really are something! I must admit, pattern design is scary! I have never attempted to design anything like a sweater! I designed a few scarves for a class I was teaching some of my girlfriends (who got tired of oohing and ahhhing…and finally wanted to learn!) Other than that, no design work for me!

There are so many beautiful published patterns I’d like to knit that I’m usually happy to stick with one of those. The main reason I designed the cardi is that I’m knitting from stash and couldn’t find a pattern I liked that used the right type and quantity of yarn. The pattern would only have gotten lost in a drawer, so I was glad to share it.
I also enjoy knitting and designing scarves. How wonderful it must be to have friends with an interest in knitting!
