Hi there! This is my first bag and I am sooo happy with the way it turned out! I don’t feel that the pictures do justice to the orange, orange-yellow and navy blue colors that I picked…but…it’s okay, lol.
The pattern is free from DIYNetwork.com (http://www.diynetwork.com/diy/na_knitting/article/0,2025,DIY_14141_4813531,00.html ). I used Galway worsted wool yarn and sizes 7 and 9 needles. The Swiss darning (duplicate stitch) technique for the colorwork was really fun!

That is beautiful! I’ve been wanting to make one, but I can’t seem to find the pattern they used for the duplicate stitch. Where did you find yours?
