FO: Felted boots for baby

Just got these out of the washing machine, took two quickwashes to felt enough and shrink enough (are still a bit big though).

They are going to be a birthday present for my cousin’s daughter (I am also her godmother) on her 1st birthday.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWW!!! Those are adorable!!! :inlove:

those are soooooo cute! I  them!
btw, too big is always better than too small…

OOOoooooOOo widdle liddle cutie booties. Those are so sweet. Nice job

Oh these are just too, too cute!!!

 Thoes are the sweetest things!! Where did you get the pattern?

Those are perfect. :cheering:
Babies grow fast.

I’ve been contimplating felted baby shoes, but my hands don’t like to knit with thick yarn and needles.
What size needle did you use, and what weight yarn???

Sooooo cute! What great colors!

mintdee --> I didn’t have a pattern, I just knit normal socks with dpns. I just estimated the size, which was the hardest part since I hadn’t used Noro Kureyon before…

Lana --> I used Noro Kureyon and I think my needles are 3 1/2 or 4 (came from a bag of mixed dpn needles from home so I don’t really have any idea).

The needles could have been a bit bigger as the socks were quite tight even before felting, but I think it would have been too floppy had I used bigger needles.

Sigh, I’m not familar with the yarn.
Is the needle size in mm???

yeah, sorry, it’s in mm

That will be one stylish baby! Those turned out wonderfully!

Totally LOVING those! The Kureyon makes some cute boots – I want some!

Those are soooo cute!!! She will love them since they are such bright colors. Good choice for a toddler!

AWWW!!! CUUUUUUUUTTTTEEEEEEE!!! :inlove: :inlove:

Those are adorable! The great thing about knitting clothes for babies is that they grow so fast, if it’s too big now, it won’t be soon enough! Good job!

Those are great!! And “awwwwww” very cute too! Was it hard to make them… being so small and all?
