Today’s my little boy’s 10th birthday! So I crocheted him a frisbee from a pattern on Ravelry and he LOVES it! Here’s F-kap!
Cute!! F-kap?
That is cute. What yarn did you use?
Odd name I know. It stands for Formally Known As Prince (has nothing to do with the singer:ick:). His grandsire’s name was Prince before we got him, then a family member got him and renamed him F-kap (he thought Prince was too girly). When he came to us the name stuck. Then I got his grandson after he’ed passed, and named him F-kap Jr.:teehee: It’s pronounced “F” and “cap”.
Sugar 'n Cream Cotton.
Tabitha, F-kap’s frisbee is great!:woot:
How is the birthday boy enjoying his new toy?? :balloons:
Well, it’s not shredded… yet! For some reason he doesn’t like to play fetch with it like his other toys. He runs to get it, then if I try to take it from him he’ll do a little play bow, then turn and ran away. He’s pretty fast for an old man! It’s so cute!:roflhard:
Congratulations on your senior dog’s birthday! oh, and the crocheted frisbee, too.
Great looking frisbee and it sounds as though F-kap agrees. Very nicely crocheted.
Thank you all for the comments! I tried to post an updated picture of the ‘LOVELY’ frisbee, but it was too big, so I posted it on Ravelry. The dogs OBVIOUSLY had fun with it.:teehee:
Very creative! Is it a cover on a real Frisbee, or is it made only of yarn? I’ll bet F-Kap is enjoying his new toy!
It was just a crochet frisbee. And yes, he did have fun with it, and then all the dogs took turns eating it! So unfortunately it went to the garbage. I think they liked the tast of the cotton, because all their other toys I’ve knitted and crocheted are play toys to them not snacks! Maybe I’ll make another with acrylic to see how it goes.
