FO - Cabled Fingerless Mitts

I made these for my daughter. She picked out the yarn and I chose this pretty cabled pattern. I cast on 40 instead of 48 and used two size 5 US circs. Because I adjusted the cast on I had to figure out where to put the thumb in relation to the cable and it’s a little too close, but now I know how to do it next time. It looks a little like an offset cable which is okay since they are the same. :wink: The yarn is Caron Simply Soft Brites in watermelon.

This is my daughter showing a little puppy love here. :teehee:

I missed these. Figuring exact placement for thumbs can be a trick but they work. Like you said next time will be perfect. I love the color of that yarn, not the color of any watermelon I’ve seen but better for the mitts. :slight_smile:
