FO: Business Casual Socks

Finally got my socks finished. Had to pull back seven rows on the leg of the second sock when my cables stopped matching up. Nothing wrong with the pattern I was just a bit tired and wasn’t paying attention. I realised that right there and then, so what possessed me to think I was wide awake enough to tink it back is beyond me! Did six rows successfully and then dropped a stitch, which dropped through a cable crossover and I couldn’t figure out how weave it back and maintain the cable… so I lost another four rows because of that! :frog:

The second photo is probably closer to the true yarn colour. It’s Cascade Yarns Heritage Paints in colour Forest.

Beautiful work and worth all the unraveling to get them right! I love the colors which work so well in the pattern.

they look great! You did a super job

Happy feet! Lovely socks! Beautifully done! They look oh so comfy.

They look lovely and toasty warm toes - ooh how nice.

Great pair of socks! the colors and the pattern, and you’ve done such a nice job.

Those socks are dynamite! Just enough patterning to complement the color variations! Way to go!!!

Those look awesome. I am working on my very first pair of socks and I don’t think they’re going to fit right (they’ll be too big) on John’s feetsies. I can’t tell if the directions on the pattern I’m using weren’t great or if I can’t do math, but I’m pretty sure 9x10 is 90 and that divided by 4 is 22.5… per needle, as directed, so then 22 per needle to “make it snug.” lol I think I should have just done like 18 per needle or something so that my socks were more snug instead of only a “half stitch.” Sorry, I know that’s confusing, but I know I read the directions right. hahaha

ANYWAY, great socks and I’m glad your feet get to be warm!
