My apologies, I didn’t see this post when u 1st posted. When I wrote my pattern for my socks my test knitter happened to be the owner of 1 of our LYS and has had several patterns published & been in the knitting biz for about 30 years. Her suggestion to me was that I get Family Circle Easy Knitting and/or Vogue Knitting magazines and review the format & style of pattern writing used in these magazines bc these are the industry ‘standard,’ so to speak. I will have to admit that as a result of her direction and my doing just that that I was able to write my pattern so that it could be read by others (I had a bit of a mess that only I understood before her direction!). So, I offer the same advice
Thanks for the advice, I will certainly do just that!
Okay, I need a name for this monstrosity.
I kind of like the name you used to post this thread: Magic Scarf
Could be done in girl-y yarns for a girl.
I like Magic Scarf too. (As a professional feminisit I always opt for gender nuetral language. And colors. “girly” humf) Or maybe even Magic tube would work just as well. Nice job
Well I think that “Magic Scarf” is probably trademarked. “Darth Scarf” is already taken, although that is what my son calls it. As boring as it sounds, “Convertible Scarf” is probably the most descriptive.
I love it!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! Super knitting!!! :XX:
Didn’t mean to offend…
