So, I started on this bag before I got too hard and heavy into the musical, and am just now finishing it off. I used Nashua Wooly Stripes yarn instead of Noro and apparently it shrank up more than the swatch test showed. This is six balls of the wooly stripes. I did double strand the bottom and knitted 54 instead of 34 and knitted 80 high… hrm…
But, all said and done, I think it still looks wonderful, even if it is squatty!
I would love to say this is mine mine mine, but truth to tell, I am giving it to a friend as sort of a late birthday bag. She totes papers back and forth all the time in a paper bag, so I figured this would make a good replacement!
The bag has gone to her final owner… and she loves it!! It’s always wonderful to have someone enjoy not only the fact that you made them something, but also enjoy the product itsself. She went on and on about the color, the classiness of the bag, and the thought and time that went into the bag.
Those make for the best receivers of the hard work!
