I love the way the scarf drapes. Since I only had one skein of this color, the keyhole was a great way to make a shorter scarf. I made it for my sister and I think I may have a hard time parting with it.
I just want to add that I slipped the first stitch purlwise on every row including on each side of the divide. I used the KFB increase, but if anyone wants to play around with it, the M1 increase might be less noticeable. No one will see or notice the increase side of my scarf, but I would try it differently next time.
My scarf is 26 inches to the divide, then about 3 inches of divide, rejoin and knit 6 more inches. It is about 5-1/2 inches wide. I used almost all of a 218 yard skein of worsted weight yarn.
