FO: Baby Boy's Tapestry Cardigan

The yarn: Rowan Tapestry (soy)
The buttons: steel with onyx centers
The book: Bouton d’Or (out of print)
The pattern: Chocolatine
Size: 6 mo.
The baby: Varriano’s baby boy due in July (baby shower in August)

Hope you like it! I am surprised I like it so much! As I was knitting it, I was having second thoughts about it. It looked so blah. But, all seamed up and buttons sewn on, I like it very much! (I used Stash Yarn, left over from my Viking Knits Cabled Scarf.)

Here is the model sweater in the book. That is why it’s called “Chocolatine”.
It looks like a ice cream Sundae with cherries on top!

Another stunner! The color is very unique and I like your version much better than the pattern original.

The button selection in my local Joann’s is downright abysmal. (I’ve complained, even to their home offices via em, but rather than improving it got worse! Go fig.) Glad yours has some great offerings.
