FO: Another Fish

I love making these fish!! This one is for a one-year old girl, as part of the Chemo Kid Knitalong.

I love that fish, Margie, I had never seen anything like that before! :cheering: :XX:

Cute!!

Boy, you pick the best colors!

I’m curious about felted things…
:?? How washable are they?

CUUUTEE!!! :inlove: :inlove:

I wish I could take credit for picking the colors, but they are the colors that came with the pattern!!

Felted things are very washable, as long as you wash them in cold water, and don’t put them in the dryer. I’ve washed my felted clogs numerous times. The fish are stuffed with a fiberfill stuffing- so I’m not sure if they would wash well. I’d guess they would be spot clean only.

Looks wonderful!!

Oh, I really like the colors! You did a fabulous job!

Ohmigosh, that is so adorable! Great job. Where did you buy the kit?

I am pretty sure that it came from Patterworks- if not, it was Knitpicks. I had it for a while before I started making them- they use dpns, and I was intimidated by that for quite a while. Now, I can’t stop!! :cheering:

Must buy fishy kits!!! So cute!

Cute!

Too, too cute!! it!

I asked a question earlier about felting stuffed animals. Did you felt the fish with or without the stuffing?
They are adorable. What a great job you did with them. I saw similar if not the same patterns in a catalogue called Wool Connections

Cindy

Cindy, I felted the fish first, and then stuffed it. The way it knits, the mouth was open enough after felting to be able stick the stuffing in there using a dpn. I’m working on another one now, for my oldest son. He originally said he didn’t want one, but then changed his mind!!
