I made myself a teddy bear (named Catsup) with the plan of making one for my friend Mike. I also started designing my own teddy bear pattern (what can I say, I was bored in biology lecture), and made a very odd purple bear from that. When I showed these two to my other friends, I was swamped with orders.
Josh’s bear is the white one with the blue paws and face, it has the Om symbol on the back as close as I could get it.
This week was Aaron’s birthday, so I made his bear this week, the blue striped one with the red bow - ran out of black for eyes and nose so had to improvise.
PS the pattern I used for Aaron’s bear is up on my blog, linked below, as of about three minutes from now. Josh’s bear used Scruffy, which I got through KPC.
Those are really cute. I haven’t bought any knitting stuff aside from yarn in forever and I just today bought a knit toys book because I just love all the adorable knit stuffed animals.
Where is Catsup? Did you make Mike’s? And where is the purple bear you came up with in biology class? These two are really cute, relaxed looking teddy bears. The white one is my favorite.
Thanks, all!
lol I’ll post Catsup and the purple bear too then (later). I haven’t made Mike’s and I’ve also got one promised to Lockie, both of these will be knit from my pattern.
The white bear is my favorite so far, too. I have to come up with something new though for the other two guys’ bears… Thinking blue with a red nordic star for Lockie and red with some kind of spots/design for Mike.
I meant to comment the other day, but just wanted to say they’re super cute! & thanks for posting your pattern on your blog! I love the white one, looks like it was store bought! perfect job!!!
:woot: way to go!
