FO-a booga, and a PSA

This was my first felted project (and the first FO I’ve posted here!).

This is a booga for my sister, a Christmas gift. It’s in Noro Kureyon, I’m pretty sure color #88.

Now for the PSA…

When adding jeans to the washer during felting, it is very important to check the pockets! Apparently, I had a paper towel or something in there. When my bag was done, hundreds of tiny white flecks of paper were felted right into the fabric! It took a long time to pull them all out. Don’t let this happen to you!

So pretty. :cheering:

:inlove:

That bag is gorgeous!

I’ve got a policy about pocket-schmutz: anything found in pockets when I’m sorting for laundry is automatically mine.

And I do mean everything… including the $75 I found in my DB’s jeans several years ago!

I like to clean out my pockets at the very last minute. That way, when I’m doing laundry…or pulling jeans from two weeks ago out of the dirty pile to wear again ( ), the $5 feels like a fun surprise!

I love the colors of your Booga!

OOOooooh you poor thing!!! Your bag looks lovely now

Great job! I love the colors!

Gorgeous booga, love the colors :cheering:

What’s PSA mean?

Love the booga!

It’s a Public Service Announcement. If my suffering can spare just one knitter…

It’s funny, I’m forever emptying things out of DH’s pockets before putting his pants in the laundry. I’m not usually a pocket-stuffer, so I didn’t think to check my own!

Thanks for the kind words, everyone!

That is beautiful well done.

There is a rule in this house anything in pockets the washwoman keeps! It usually is just tissues though :verysad:

 Sharon

Love the colors!!! Oh, and I forgot to take some smarties out of my pocket and my light blue turtleneck has yellow and pink spots on it! :wall:

Beautiful :muah: :muah: Could I be your sister too? I want to bag, pretty please :teehee: Sissy

pubic service announcement

very pretty! I love booga bags, they so fast and easy to knit!

The colors are great!

Bummer on the tissue job. My daughter just did some felting, and although she thought she had cleaned out the pockets of the jeans missed something. She came in and told me, Mom… money doesn’t felt!

Your booga is gorgeous! I love the colors. At least it was just a napkin. I have a tendency to leave chapsticks in my pockets!

Those are gorgeous colors!

Oh, and I must confess to periodic “money-laundering” schemes…

That way, when I’m doing laundry…or pulling jeans from two weeks ago out of the dirty pile to wear again , the $5 feels like a fun surprise!

If you ever come to Minnesota I will help with your laundry.

I love the colours!
