Originally, this toddler tank started out as the Kidlet Tank. However, when I got closer to the underarm BO, I decided to make a V-neck with garter stitch straps and attached flutter sleeves. Well, I finished… But, the strap drop length is too long which makes them fall right off Marie’s shoulders. So, now I need to detach the straps at the back and remove the sleeves. I plan on frogging the straps back to the correct length and re-doing the flutter sleeves so that they start and finish lower on the straps. Here is the tank before all these revisions:

Here’s what the tank looks like now. I didn’t have time to make the flutter sleeves before going out last night. But, I did add to the neck area by picking up sts along the neck and strap line and working ~8 rows. The tank’s a little more modest now. I’ll wait and see about adding the flutter sleeves – though I want to make a top with flutter sleeves, it might not be this one.
