I just finished a sock but wound up with a very large gusset hole on one side (I’m fairly new to knitting). I’m trying to figure out how to go about sewing it closed. When I do a search on google all I get is how to avoid doing it in the first place. That’s great info for the next sock (and also great to know it’s not something that just happens to me) but it doesn’t help me fix that problem I already have. Anyone have good videos on how to sew up a hole in that area?
Swiss darning might be best for that?
Look at the video on double knitting. That way you can just integrate the fix with the rest of the stitches.
I usually just use a darning needle after and sew it closed
