FYI: If you can get a copy through the library, it’s legal to copy 1 pattern for your personal use. If your library doesn’t have it, ask them about interlibrary loan.

Clarification: It’s fine for Gabbyspira to copy a pattern from a library book for her own use. It’s a violation of copyright law for someone else to copy the pattern from the book and “distribute” it – via selling, swapping or even giving it away.
