First sweater! Need help with setting up markets for raglan sleeves

Hello! I am knitting the Cromwell sweater by Blue Sky Fibres. This is my first sweater. It says CO 62 stitches. Place markets for raglan incs. Then it says next row, p2, pm p12…Do I
insert the markers in the cast on row? If so where? And then carry on with the ‘next row’?
Thank you for any help anyone can give.

Ok. On second thought I think they are just telling you that you will need to place markers later so I just CO and then follow the pattern, only placing markers where it says to.
I hope that’s right

Yes, where it says next row, P2, pm, p12… that’s where it’s telling you to place a marker on the needle between stitches.
