WOOHOO! I DID IT!!! I finished my 1st felted bag!!! :happydancing: :balloons: I did it for my Mother’s birthday and even though I didn’t finish it on time I showed her the completed unfelted pieces and she really liked it. I can’t wait to give it to her. It’s called the ‘Felted Belle Handbag’ and I found on knittingpatterncentral. I used cascade 220. The white didn’t felt as well as the red but it still looks good. Because of it’s ease, it makes a great first felted project.

Thanks everyone. Making the bag gave me some much need confidence to try other things like socks but I’m stuck on the gusset right now :wall: hopefully I’ll figure it out some day soon. I’d never work with the Cascade 220 before. I really liked the feel and the richness of the color.
