I used 5 packets of black cherry kool-aide with 100 grams of Knit Picks bare essential tweed sock yarn I love the color but I was hoping for a little more variation in the color so I didn’t stir it at all once I put the yarn in the pot.

I am a little sad though because it was my brother in laws girlfriend that bought me all the knitting goodies for Christmas and then she passed away unexpectedly just before Thanksgiving after I posted this here I was actually getting ready to send the pic to her in an e-mail I guess I just didn’t let it hit me untill the holidays were over but now I am sad she was only 35 years old.

No that is me and my husband in my avatar but I think I am going to dye the other hank purple and name it after her because purple was her favorite color.
