Finishing Newborn Baby Hat

I have just finished the pattern for the Newborn Baby Hat designed by Jennifer Brown found on this site and the last instruction is to cut the yarn, leaving enough length to thread through remaining 8 sts., draw up securely to close.

My question is how do I thread this yarn through the sts?

I sure do appreciate all the help I get from this forum. Everyone is sooo nice!

after you cut the yarn put it on a tapestry needle and just thread it through the loops…easy peasy!

don’t forget to post pictures for us to see.

That sounds easy enough. Which way does the thread go through? Does it go through the opposite end? Can you tell I am not a sewer

Thanks,
Tracey

uuuuuuh i don’t know…i am an improviser and just put it through the way the yarn is already going i guess. i don’t know if there is an “official” way of doing it…i just pull it through and then poke the needle down through the top and secure it by weaving it in like crazy on the underside.

if there is an official way of doing it, hopefully someone will tell us…though i am not sure i wanna know really… :rofling:
