Finally finished the sweater, the ribbon is threaded through the eyelet/holes and will be changed to match whatever ribbon my 3yo niece chooses to wear as shoelaces each day.

Thanks that was the first “sweater” I ever made. Sadly my fashionista niece who was 2 at the time did not care for it. Now I let her pick out the yarn and the pattern. LESSON LEARNED…

Gong cotton. I actually like the yarn but the pattern that came with purchase calls for such large needles (the yarn likes about a 3.5 US and the pattern calls for a 6) and I am a loose knitter that it ended up a little more “lacy” than I wanted. I do LOVE the picot bind-off and can’t wait for a chance to use it again.
