I made a chunky baby blanket, finished it, held it up and realized that about 1/4 of the way through I missed an end loop and carried on and finished the whole blanket. Is there any way I can fix this without unravelling (it’s a striped blanket, three colours) or doing a whole new one?

You can try carrying up the end loop as far as you can. In my experience, this isn’t more than a row or two. You might also bury it in the adjoining sts. Then use a short length of the same yarn to tie it off at the edge and weave in the ends of the “helper” yarn.
