There are a bunch of fingerless gloves/mittens knit in the round so I’m thinking you might be looking for something specific? Maybe with 2 circs or magic loop? Or can you use DPNs? Also…do you prefer fingerless mittens or gloves? Gloves have the short fingers…

Sorry, my mistake. You want circular needle patterns. These “Fetching” gloves are done with dpns. The pattern is very nice, though, and could be done with 2 circulars if you’re up to it.
I think that’s very true and it should be pretty easy if you are comfortable with knitting in the round and making a few little changes.

I just use any pattern in the round and put top half of stitches on one circ and the bottom half on the other. If you want the ones with the short fingers, I did the Queen of Diamonds pattern on KnitPicks on two circs. It was easy to do with 2 circs and looks great in self-patterning yarn.

I am sure that someone has told you this by now but I have been using a 12inch Addi turbo circular needle (size 7) instead of dpn and it really works very well for the fingerless gloves that I have knitted. I have to do the thumb w/dpns but the fingerless mitts are going very fast. I was going to do 1 pair for gifts and have ended up doing four pair.

I should have said two circular needles - sorry. Fingerless gloves or mitts but I like the ones with the thumb knitted instead of a buttonhole hole.
In that case the second one I linked to is done on 2 circs, but as was suggested really any pattern can be done that way. I can post some more nice ones, but as far as I know they all say DPNs.

Hi, can you suggest different size 12" circular needles with different yarn weights. I purchased size 1, 2.5 doe fingering weight yarn and its to big. I’m a loose knitter.
I would love to know what size to get for worsted wool. I wish I could test them out but they don’t sell them at LYS and they would order but want exact size as was told they don’t have demand for them.

Do you have needles appropriate to working with worsted weight yarn already? That should give you a pretty good idea what size needles you want for working in the round, your gauge should be similar in the round or flat. I only have longer interchangeable or fixed circs because they’re more versatile. 40" (or thereabout) circs are great for magic loop and doing 2 @ a time socks. You could use 2 circs if that’s better for you. Check out the Advanced Techniques videos in the free videos available at the top of the screen.
