Finding discontinued yarn

Someone gave me a bunch of Red Heart Super Saver yarn. I need a few more skeins of one of the colors for an Afghan I want to make. When I called my local JoAnn Fabrics store they told me that color is discontinued!!!:cry:

Anyone know how I could find more skeins of a discontinued color???

You could try Ebay or Ravelry.
A search on Rav finds RHSS stashed over 82,000 times. You can look for the color you need by filling in the box at the top of this page.

A message to several of the owners (even if the yarn is listed as the default, Not for Sale) is worth a try.

You can try looking them online, may be you can find the discontinued color.

I appreciate your kindness. The local JoAnn Fabrics store told me they could order from a different store IF they had any and IF I wanted to pay an extra $7 in shipping. Not sure what I want to do.
