I searched everywhere for the information on these yarns in these patterns but no luck for me.
especially in these two it says 6 or 6.5 sts = 1" on 4 1/2 size needles.
on some discontinued list on a site I saw that Fleisher uses US needle sizes, but then these are some strange needles?
anyway, can I probably use any sport weight?
and does anyone know if back in the day yarn always came in fairly regularly sized balls, or would you just buy a bunch more and then trade it back later?
thanks!
I don’t get a yarn site with either of these links, are you sure they’re right?

where does it go?
it’s supposed to be to the free patterns page on agoodyarn.net/PTN_Main.htm - then the wellington & medlock sweaters patterns, the third over in the top row.
my partner said someone is cybersquatting, if that means anything to you?
(I’m confused!)
:??
I’ve never heard the term, but maybe it means someone else has moved into the site? Right now it’s one of those pseudo search pages.

You could try to e-mail the person at this site. Fleisher’s Silverglow isn’t listed, but perhaps they have some info that has not been posted yet.
I think the 4.5 needle size is metric, so size 7 US. That would fit with the stitch gauge for a DK or light worsted weight yarn.
I find Silverglow mentioned on this page at vintage knits, only colors, doesn’t give the weight. I’d go with it being a DK yarn too.

I think I will just try knitting a sleeve with dk yarn & the 7s & see what happens - thanks, you two!!
:cheering:
I don’t know why I thought 7s were for worsted…
