I have made two pair of FTC’s using the double stranded yarn the pattern calls for. I am wondering if anyone has made them with a single strand BULKY yarn. \

I have lots of Lambs Pride Bulky and was wondering if the pattern would felt as well using the single strand of Bulky. I checked my gauge and it is pretty close.

I made a pair for my SIL using bulky and it worked. I didn’t notice a difference between her’s and the ones I made double stranded. If you are getting gauge I would say go for it!

I would think it should work too … let us know how they come out!

I also used Lambs Pride Bulky. They felt up fuzzier – an effect I like, but you might not.

Fuzzy is good!! I think I’ll give it a try!
