I just finished my knitting basket. I now need to felt it. I was told to only felt in a top loading washing machine. I have a front loader. Why can’t I do it in my machine? I know to use hot water, put a pair of jeans in with it, and use Eucalan (sp?)
You can do it in a front loader. The problem is that usually they can’t be opened mid cycle so you can check the progress. If you’re okay with doing it for a whole cycle or your machine can be checked then go for it!
