My SIL said she needed pot holdersand I found this pattern. Has anyone done it?
I’ve never done color work OR worked from a chart. This doesn’t look too hard though. What I’m thinking of doing is trying it with the heart and then since my SIL likes lighthouses maybe try that… :shock:

My vision is not what it used to be, so I can’t read charts anymore. I’ve had to get rid of all my old cross-stitch patterns. When I knit, I have to make an enlargment of the instructions so I can read them.
Charts are easy–I always think of them as color-by-number. You certainly know where to go to get help, too!

Ya know I was a little judgemental at first. i was thinking, potholders schmotholders. But then I looked at the pattern and I think they’re kinda cute. But how do you felt white? i thougth white didn’t felt? Maybe I’ll knit them with ya Jan.
Cool! It’s a good wool stashbuster I think. I’m not using white. I have some pink, purple, navy blue, red, anothe red… :roflhard: At least stains won’t show! :roflhard:
Some white does felt, you just need to test it first.

I love the felted potholder that i made. It works like a charm! It isn’t one of thoes lovies that you posted but a hat that I made for Sophia that was too small for her so I felted it and blocked it flat. lovely pink potholder now. Once I finish my forever long list of knitting projects I plan on making more (next year some time :roflhard: )
