I’m thinking about doing the garterlac dishcloth with some stash WOTA, then felting it to use as coasters. I’ll probably use two contrasting colors, alternating each row, since I don’t have any variegated stash yarn.
This is going to be my first attempt at entrelac in any form - does this make sense? I have no idea how the size will work out, so I don’t know how many squares/triangles I should do, or how large, but I guess that’s the fun of it! I figured if I knew I’d be felting what I knit, I could just focus on the technique instead of obsessing about how neatly I was knitting.
Am I missing anything obvious that would make this a no-go? Any advice appreciated!
