Feather and fan shawl

I am on row 57 of this shawl and it is not working out.https://www.knitting-and.com/crafts-and-needlework/knitting/patterns/shawls-shrugs/feather-and-fan-comfort-shawl/ After row 55, I had 112 stitches. When I do row 57, I am one short. I followed the pattern carefully- is it me? I did it twice, but still came up one stitch short at the end
57th row: K1, yo, [(k2tog) 3 times, (yo, k1) 6 times, (k2tog) 3 times] 3 times*, (k1, yo) twice, k1, repeat from * to ** once, yo, k1- I was wondering if the k1 in bold should be there- if that wasn’t there, my stitch count would line up- maybe it is me and I just can’t count!

Hi
Row 55 makes 113 sts, not 112.
Maybe you missed a YO, or miscounted? Or it could be a typo in your message and you already had 113 there?

If you missed a YO it may be possible to drop down into the purl row 56 and pick up a strand between the stitches to work on the purl row. Or maybe you’d prefer to tink the row.

I find it helps to go back a row (to row 55) and name the stitches. You may already have markers either side of the repeats but if not, they will help. Then go over the sts, naming them as you go: the yarn over, the k2tog and so on down the row. That inevitably helps find the missing stitch.

Thanks for the help. I went back and redid row 53- then I was set up properly for row 57!
