That’s really weird… when I reply to someone it changes the title from red to black (and smaller). Geez.
That is what is supposed to happen. Only the titles of things you haven’t read should be red.

Amanda’s right; once you’ve read a thread, the color changes. It’s only red when a thread is new or there’s new unread posts in it.
If you made the post, then it should be black. only if someone else responds and you haven’t read it does it turn red. ex. after my last post, i saw this thread as black, but after you posted it turned red again. now, when i look at it it will be black again.
The page background color is a magenta purple. It should be the same color on both sides. If you’re seeing two different colors, I think your monitor is going bad and not displaying colors properly any longer.
Links should go from [COLOR=Red]Bold Red[/COLOR] to [COLOR=Purple]Purple [COLOR=Black]<<The word “purple” is IN purple. If you see black, check your monitor color settings.

Read posts are supposed to be [COLOR=Purple][B]PURPLE[/B][/COLOR], not black. All links on this site go from [COLOR=Red][B]Bold Red[/B][/COLOR] to [COLOR=Purple]Unbold Purple[/COLOR] after they’ve been clicked.
VictioseC, please see my reply in this post. I think your monitor is going bad and all the setting changes you’re making might be unnecessary (or harmful!)

Victoise-Your titles aren’t supposed to appear red to you, because they aren’t new (to you) If you’ve seen the post, it won’t appear red. Everything’s fine, it appears orange to the rest of us.

Oh my gosh, SORRY. Um, but something good came out of this. Sheldon suggested a reload my browser so I got a new version of Firefox and bunches of extra stuff. And cleaned up my computer. I feel really stupid though. Well, like Imentioned to Contiknitter, (not trying to lay blame here) but in the beginning Jan in Ca mentioned titles go from BOLD red to just red after you read them. So I thought the black (PURPLE YES) was my computer screwing up.
Oh geez, wish I could pass around a plate of cookies (the real kind not computer) to you all who helped me.
