I live in El Cajon, are there any others from here?
I’m in San Diego. :waving: Are you looking for a knitting group?
There are several. The LYS in Lemon Grove holds one on Thursday nights
I run one on Saturday Mornings in Point Loma you can see the details in the link in my signature.
There is one at Cafe 976 at 6:30 every Tuesday in PB
There is one at the Starbucks in Balboa and Genesee in the Clairemont area on Mondays. I believe they meet at 6:30
There is a new one starting up on Mondays in the University Heights Twiggs on Adams ave. I think they plan to meet at 6pm.
I know I am missing some.
Reply, thank you those are a little far from me. Before long I won’t be driving and will be taking the bus. So must be days.
If anyone’s still active in this thread, I’m in the Spring Valley area of Lemon Grove/San Diego and would be overjoyed to find some knitters - active knitters - close to me!
And the Knitting Basket, referenced above, is no long in business apparently No idea if any of the other information is applicable though.
Hi, I live in El Cajon. I am a knitter and crochetier. There is a knitting store in La Mesa called the Two Sister’s for Ewe. It is on La Mesa Blvd down from the Grossmont Shopping Center and just past the car dealership. In fact it is right across the street from Garfield St. Hope that helps.
There’s a knit/crochet group that meets at the Grossmont Panera on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. You can find it on meetup.com and it’s a really great group of people. Very friendly and welcoming.
Do you know if the knitting store, Two Sister’s for Ewe can help explaining instructions on a knitting pattern?
@Jan_in_CA may be able to help.
You can also post the pattern name, your questions and a row or two of the pattern here and we’ll try to help. Don’t post a large portion of the pattern as that would infringe on copyrights.
Thanks for the suggestion. I wounded up going to a knitting store at Liberty Station where they helped me with a collar part.
