Hi everyone, I am wondering if you could direct me to a link for a pattern of a rectangle shawl that is pretty enough for a bride but easy enough for me to knit as I have only been knitting for a few months. I would appreciate any suggestions. I have Patons Lace blend of fine (2) yarn which is 80% acrylic, 10% mohair and 10% wool. It looks like it could make something very pretty It says that is is suitable for size 4 US needles (3.5mm).
What if you give the patterns on Ravelry a try? You can do an advanced search and specify your yarn and type of pattern. It’s bound to come up with lots of choices.
I’m on my third one of these. They are so easy and the results are beautiful. I used fingering weight yarn and US 8 needles. The pattern was written for lace weight, but any yarn would work.
Here’s my first one. The second was green/brown in the same yarn, but I forgot to take pics before gifting.

That’s if you were going to make a sweater or something thats knit densely. For lace patterns you would go up several needle sizes and with this yarn, many people have used size 6 or 8 on patterns.
