Easy purse pattern?

My dear friend recently had her purse stolen from her, and I’d love nothing more than to knit one for her! I’ve found many free purse patterns, but I do not have the knitting tools that are required and/or the patterns are too difficult for my skill level. (I’d gladly go out to get the tools I needed, but my LYS is VERY slow to restock).

Does anyone know an “easy” pattern that calls for 29" circular needles between US sizes 8 and 10 (or something close enough so that I can still get my gauge right)? Or a pattern calling for DPNs size 5-10?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :heart:

Any pattern that calls for straight needles in your range - 8 - 10 - will work. Just use your circs as straight needles and turn at the end of each row.

I think a Booga Bag might be nice. Its a free pattern and although it calls for 10.5 circs I think if you add a few stitches and use your 10 circs it should work. Just make sure you use wool yarn so that it felts.
